About Special Events
We will make sure your wedding or event is set up with the highest quality tents, linens, tables, chairs, dance floors and care to make your day unforgettable! We feel that every wedding and event is ours and we are not finished until we (and you) are happy! Just recently we were given a vision and were told we performed “beyond any expectations.” We are truly honored to work with the wonderful people that we do and we are blessed to do what we love.
Since its creation in 1981, Special Events has been part of many events throughout the Bluegrass. Pacha Ball in Richmond, Glasgow Highland Games, Mt. Laurel Festival, University of Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky University, Woodford Humane Society, God’s Pantry, and many many more. In May 2012, Kimberly and Jim Gaunce purchased Special Events to continue their dream of creating extraordinary events all over the state.
In 2009, Kim completed the Association of Bridal Consultants courses and became a certified Bridal Consultant.
