About Special Events
We are the only rental house in the area owned and operated by a Professional Bridal Consultant with the ABC! I work on every single event like it is my own and I am proud to share this with my husband and my son each and every day!
My husband and I would not be able to accomplish all that we do without our wonderful and knowledgeable crew. They are the best group of men that we could ask for! Every single person will make sure your wedding or event is set up with the highest quality tents, linens, tables, chairs, dance floors and care to make your day unforgettable! We feel that every wedding and event is ours and we are not finished until we (and you) are happy! Just recently we were given a vision and were told we performed “beyond any expectations.” We are truly honored to work with the wonderful people that we do and we are blessed to do what we love.
Now a bit of history on Special Events………………..
Since its creation in 1981, Special Events has been part of many events throughout the Bluegrass. Kimberly Gaunce joined the Special Events team in 2006 as the Event Manager. She helped to continue the tradition of spectacular events and customer service. In May 2012, Kimberly and Jim Gaunce purchased Special Events to continue Kim’s dream of creating extraordinary events all over the state. With the addition of wedding and event planning, Special Events can do it all so you can be a guest at your own event!
We love what we do and we hope to show our little man that you can do what you love by being passionate and professional for your clients. He is already planning what he will do when he is old enough to work at Special Events. He’s the light man!
